The Courtyard

Another site that might interest visitors, is the courtyard. Visible from many places within the palace, it is only attainable from the main hallway. The Courtyard is positioned directly in the center of the palace. It’s a manmade ecosystem, in an airtight room about a half acre in size. The walls are completely transparent, so the courtyard can be viewed from the outside. Lit artificially by lighting provided by Liwanag, the courtyard produces greenery such as grass, and a number of trees and bushes. The majority of the courtyard is a simple field, covered in grass, and various plantlife. About one third of the area is occupied by a lake by means of controlled elevation. In the center of the lake, stands a flawless statue of the Goddes, Halsey. She stands, with her hands extended outward, as if offering her blessings to all those who seek her out. The lake is home to a number of aquatic species, including a rare beast, that most members of Siram believe to be nothing more than a legend. Near the entrance to the Couryard, is a small Garden, tended to by Micah and A’Nailiah. There is also a small hot spring located along the eastern wall. It’s a quite peaceful place, and many Siram officials come here to visit during their free time. Though animals are rarely seen here, the sound of birds chirping can often be heard within the walls.

Zoe-low stood silently on the water portion of the courtyard awaiting for his opponent to arrive ..He stood on top of the mellowed water with ease, almost without using any type of energy at all ..His mind and the water was one with each other,together ,as a whole..Zoe-low took a deep breath taking in the positive energy that the water gave off to him ..Truth be told he was an healer..This fight ran through his head a million times and the only way he could see his self winning is to defend witch he could do very well ..While still waiting Zoe-low continue to be one with his element ..

walking in he had changed back to hsi normal black cloak hidden from sight he approached he bowed lightly to his opponent raising his head once mro he was off at a dash toward him. drawing his wicked carved blade quickly he swept bits of dirt swinging upward the dirt drifted upon the air pushing hsi foot outward the dirt moved with it and shot out toward the man not directly but swarmign mroe like little stinging bumble bees. they continued to swarm as sotaynru soon was right upon him thrusting out ward a single palm aimed to the mans sternum. he meant this to be a mere stun as his hand fell of neatly anouther consecutive attack aimed to down swipe the mans neck as a knee prepared to destroy his nose the specks of dirt at this same tiem shot out liek needles attempting to pierce his skin. while the blows sotaynru was attempting would mess the mans internal organs up very badly.

Zoe-low bowed.. At this point his emotion was subsided by focus and determination ..He didn't know what this man was planning but he wasnt going to take no chance what so ever..The energy around Zoe-low shifted ,changing from mellow to a raging ora ..The man came in his range before the water activated forming a wall between him and his opponent ..This was perfect for Zoe-low for one the water blind his sight for some seconds and two it slow the mans hand down enough to only knock the wind out of Zoe-low..Zoe-low cough before he regained his breath again .With his speed cut in half Zoe- low could easily avoid the knee by shifting his body to the left side of his opponent's body and begin his counter

Fact 71 percent of the human body is water ,wich he knew from his studies ..The other percent is blood and organ ..Know this Zoe-low slowly lay his hand on the back of his targets knee .If he made contact with his opponents knee Zoe-low could shift this targets blood away from the ACL and MCL making his target unable to move correctly ..Zoe-low didnt forget about the dirt that was about to attack him ..Instead of running trying to avoid him he wet the water swallow him whole thus making the needles unable to reach him as he fell deeper and deeper

oddly annoying honestly sotaynru close enough now to make some contact he noticed the man calmly attempting to do something with his leg sotaynru as paranoied as he was nothign was calm in battle never. shifting his foot a sheet of dirt with scraping edges shot up to block and cut th mans hand. sotaynru shifting back wards before any thing could begin to happen. he calmed himself now watchign the man disperse under water he breathed in then out then manuevering hsi hands quickly the earth began to wake a bit stumbling aroudn the man where he had dispersed in water the odd thing about water is that it had to be withheld by solid earth unless manipulated this man had set himself up for failure. the earth molded aroudn him making a spehere of harsh earth trapping thye water he was in soon sotay twitched hsi finger as smines came toward the man from seven differnt positions while int eh spehere hoping to strike through his body and cause masive blood incisions. this was tiring sotay barely but enough to notice. they spines would retract then attempt from a different positiont e sphere a deathly trap though the places aimed for would only be enough to stop the man not kill him. as aeverythign was molded nwo sotay ould sit in meditation as the sphere did most the work regaining his power he drew his blade ready if the man somehow started to figure a way otu of this as more energy regained then the sphere took a metalic form makign it much more stable and hard to do much at all this man wo9uld. have to think quick of suffer massive injury as well as loss of this duel. sotaynru wasnt a man of unnecisary risk clapping his hands together soon rock like tendril begunt o spin the spere makign it highly difficult to regain any composure to switch his standings in this match.

As Zoe-low slowly descended deepeer and deeper into the water his mind started to come into play ..Being a healer he was excellent when it came to thinking on his feet and improvising on hand .He notice that the water was shifting but he wasn't the one doing it.."Earth" this land was made mostly from earth and this would be a problem if Zoe-low let it be but for now he had to worry about something else ..A trap his target put him in not able to move this in fact would of gave him the win in battle if only for one thing and one thing only ..Zoe-low was in water ,In water he could send a pulse that increased the water pressure to an level that crushed objects.But the trick was to sent it outward so it wouldn't crush him as well..Then he figured it out,the skin breaths also.. Instead of aiming the flow of energy from his hands he aim it out of his entire body crushing the rocks in his radius..
That last minute escape took alot out of him but now it was time to attack ...Zoe-low's ocean blue eyes started to glow as the outline of his body also turned a ocean blue ..His fingers clinch, the water started to shift into a clockwise rotation ..Each rotation the speed increased forming into a whirlpool ..If he was right the man was still on top of the water for thats where the battle started as the man made his first move charging in and Zoe-low never jumped onto land .If caught in this whirlpool it would do only minor damage to his body absorbing him in but the main objective would been to keep him underwater for the whirlpool would prevent him from rise to the top to get air ,drowning him into surrendering..As a healer he wasn't use to fighting ..He could feel he was almost done energy wise . It took to much energy to defend then attack ..At this point all he would have to rely on is hand-to-hand combat ...

(zoe not to be a downer excellent creativity though by out sites logic that escape would not be allowed. your body may not become water skin cant transform to water so your gonn have to find a nouther escape also friend keep in mind that there is an exhaustian level to our characters using a wave of such immense power would cost ou energy you most likelydont have. rewrite and escape from the attack please int eh bound of logic were trying to avoid myb extremeitys.)

sotaynru noticed the waves begint o stir a bit he was slightly worried this woudl prove an awsome attack if it was executed the way the man had hoped it to be. he had to avoid it. before the whirl pool could do too much at all sotay waved hsi hand one way aiming a large rock like tendril he had been attempting to use before hand he attempted to jump failing it twisted his foot a bit from reverse tides and such. the tendril woudl cause him a good bit of pain as it smacked him back to clear land sotaynu landed with a small roll his back hurting his cloak torn he was slightly frustrated though this man was not fit for battle liek he this proved in hsi favor. smilign at the man he stomped then shifted his foot forward a rock like slide covering the place where this man was the whirl pool almost liek a curtain sotaynru sat cross legged then and began to meditate he left only a small oppening withthe rest spiked under neath the man would have to emerge to finish this duel. and to scare him the rock began to take a steel form somethign that woudl not eaily break at all. sotaynru waited takign off his cloack he was bare his tattoos showign all upon his body he wated calmly his fists clenched.

Ali nodded and took his hand, leading him through the main hallway, and into the courtyard. Shed only been in here a couple times, because she didnt want to wear out the awe she felt whenever she walked in. She adored probably the lake the most. She loved the statue, which seemed so open and friendly, and she loved the creatures believed to live in it. She especially loved the legend of the rare beast found in this lake, but she wasnt entirly sure it existed. so many were convinced it was just a legend, but the childhood part of her mind wanted to say it did. Slowly she walked over to the lake, and just lightly dipped her fingers in it, bringing a small amout of water to her face, cooling it off. She smiled at Sotay, and motioned around her. "So whatda ya think?"
