Ali frowned, trying to rub a couple of the stains out, but gave up, smiling. "I'm quite sure its an intresting look haha. And sure!" She smiled and followed him onto the dance floor. She was sad that the ball was coming to an end. She was having fun. She smiled when she recognized the next song (for some reason I have freak the freak out by victoria justice in my head). Once on the dance floor she moved around in a surprisingly graceful upbeat dance that left her hair messy around her face. She smiled, and watched Sotaynru to see how he danced to upbeat songs.

Looking over at Ashling, Jin raised a eyebrow " So does that mean you are ready to leave?" He didnt want to pressure her into thinking that they had to leave. He would leave when she wanted to. It was a place to have fun but it wasnt his idea of a fun time. Sipping his drink, he pulled out a small tobacco pipe and began to fill it slightly. He was just showed this not to long ago at the bar he worked at and he liked it. " Im ready when ever you are"

Ashling nods. The ball had been more of a bust than a blast. " Yes please. I feel like I've been here for days." She smiles and stands up. Taking a last look at the ball room, her lips curl up and she displays a beautiful smile. Her long strawberry blonde hair floating behind her, she sets off for the door only stopping when she is outside.

Being led out onto the dance floor, Micah followed rather excitedly; she hadn't danced in years, this would be fun. Her curiosity was peaked by this man, she was interested to see the customs of dance he had been taught, if he had been, at all. Surely it couldn't be the same as the dances Siram has known, but how far off could it be? Placing her hands in the proper positions on the man, which could have been difficult to do if she was any shorter, but seemed to work perfectly with her current height, her eyes lifted from the room around them once more to meet his own. His comment inspired a quiet bravado of giggles to erupt plentiful from her lips, the delight twinkling in her eyes. She followed his steps rather fluently herself, though easily allowing him to lead her in the mostly familiar dance. Her only comment after the fact as a retaliation to his own, was a simple, and playfully innocent murmur "I'll be the judge of that!" Not that she would tell him he was a terrible dancer if the need should arise; which she didn't think would happen. He seemed to be doing rather well, as he led her through the dance; better than many she had seen before, no doubt. Her eyes held to his through the dance, the colorful array of lights casting playful and innocent reflections over her; dress glimmering, eyes wavering back and forth between a deep sapphire blue, and a translucent white glow. The steps she made were delicate, light on her toes was she; fluently dancing her way across the floor with him. This was the best night she'd had in a while, so fun in fact, that she couldn't keep the giggles of content and delight from passing her small, yet plump, rosy lips.

Rather short this time, Sorreh ^-^'

(Tis okay ^_^. No worries aye?)

Her comment struck him in a good way. The playfulness in her voice told him it was all in good fun. As a small chuckle left his lips as he let his eyes lock into hers, the dance continuing as normal, mesmerized by the changing colors that shone so brightly from the beautiful orbs. The only time his eyes changed was when the light struck them just right and shone a different color. Hers, on the other hand, seemed to glide through two colors so naturally, like they both where her normal. His eyes looked over her as the lights played upon the colors of her dress and skin. Where they reflections of the bulbs upon her flesh? Perhaps. Maybe he was seeing things and this entire moment was a vision. It seemed so much like a dream. Him, a rough soldier, dancing with the leader of a clan, a small beautiful girl, far beyond her age in wisdom. He would go as far to say it was almost too good to be true. A quiet laugh passed through his lips, though nothing was exchanged between the two that would account for his show of amusement. The laugh was mostly at himself as smaller thoughts passed through his head.

As he continued the steps of the dance, his smile flashed once more as he stared to Micah. A thought crossed his mind as he looked into her eyes and his grin only grew wider as he pulled her in closer and chuckled. “Follow me, I’m going to switch the steps up a little bit.” He pulled back into the normal position and gave her a small wink before his last step hit the floor with a small thud that echoed lowly though the room. The music changed only slightly, becoming a tad more quicker and sharper than the previous. The music stayed romantic but gained an air about it. As the song filled the air the fire bulbs seemed to react more and his feet began the dance. The steps where not greatly varied from the one they had done before, but they were quicker and the movements of the body added a little flare. He pulled her in closer, almost chest to chest, as he led her through the fiery dance. His eyes never left hers as they continued around the room, some people moving from their path as they went along. He hoped she had caught on to the nature of the dance and followed along with him, adding in her own movements to match his own.

He continued with her into a more open room and smiled as he released his hand from her waist and lifted the one he held, moving her into a twirl. As she came around once more, he let his movements stop her, extending both his arms out fully, hoping she would match his pose. With another smooth movement, he pulled her back towards him, continuing to lead her, and wrapped his arm around her back, his and her hand coming to land on the opposing hip as they stood side by side, facing the same wall. His free hand also caught her other hip as his eyes shot down to her, hoping to lock her gaze for a moment before he lead her in another spin. But at the end of this one he caught her with his free arm and dipped her head back, leaning in as his eyes locked with hers, a smile present on his face.

He nodded towards Ashling and stood up. He waved goodbye to a few people and began the walk towards the pod station. He would turn around before leaving the door to the ball " See you back in Incedinia Ashling." Turning around, he would walk out the doors, down the stairs, and into the pod station room. From their he would jump into a pod and wait for the journey back home.

sotay followed a bit and smiled watching how she started to dance. sotay waited til he got used to the music style he was trying. he wasnt to great at this but then he listened to ever beat odd and in waiting he began to move his body to every beat. hitting flips and spins of odd calibur this was the only way he knew to dance to this music little showy even for the occasion but it worked with the beat although his hair flew wild with the alternative moves his stamina was wearing as he hit these tricks such control over his bodily mechanics ending a with a b twist he turned spun once mreo as the song ended and kissed ali he felt slightly foolish but he didnt knwo who esle to thrash to this music.

Ali smiled at Sotaynru , laughing slightly. His dancing style was.. different, but in a funny cute way. She kissed him back, as just then another slow song came on. She could tell how soon the ball was coming to an end. Was this the last song? She decided to make the best of it. She whispered in his ear "you lead?" she smiled and brushed her hair out of her face. "No holding back."

(Aww, that post made me giggle ^w^)

Back in the old days, nights like these were only in the passionate, fantasy fairytales Micah was read to sleep with every night. Since birth, maybe even before then, the queen had read her beloved daughter a plethora of stories, of magnificent worlds in which kings, queens, princes and princesses ruled all the land; where love was all around them, at all times. One story Micah had grown particularly fond of, was the tale of Dianna, a lovely little princess whom grew up in an ugly world. The story went, that Dianna would sit up every night in her decrepit, one room home for a family of 8, swearing to herself that she would make it beyond these ugly skies, and learn to fly in greater places. Dianna's father thought her foolish, but her mother, oh no; her mother lifted her up, and told her that one day she would grow beautiful wings and fly to a celestial palace, where she would change the stars. And so she did. Dianna grew to be a beautiful young maiden, whom in time made many friends in the slums of the place she called home. She met many people; good, bad, in between. She'd seen harshities many hadn't, had been placed in many dangerous and scary situations. But she was determined to make it to the end of the world, to the place where the ground met the sky; she would come to this land, and here, she would find a bird. This bird would take her into the sky, to a celestial palace; she would tell the people in this palace of her homeland, make them see they needed help. She would change the stars for her people, and become Princess Dianna. Many nights, Micah sat up in her mothers bed, begging to hear the story she had memorized long ago. Her mother would, of course, oblige to her requests, and tell Micah of the magnificent Dianna. "One day," she said, "One day, you'll become Princess Dianna. One day, you'll change the stars of Siram, you'll bring peace to Daratan." "I will, mommy?" "You will, sweetheart, I know it."

Of course, fairytales weren't real; she hadn't heard one in years anyway, to keep her faith of their existence very much alive, like it used to be. But tonight... This night was like a fairytale. This night was like a magnificent dream; the lights all around, streaming over her delicate figure. The cream colored fabric, as well as her porcelain flesh, too in the light so beautifully you would think she were a jewel reflecting the different array of colors surrounding her. Translucent beauty, thats what she had been called since birth. Like a drop of pure light, she would be a savior. Of course, who was she to know if this Little Princess of the Tides, would come to be like Dianna? Likely was it not, sane was it not; then again, what was sane, normal, or just about this night, other than the pure bliss she was enveloped in? Not a thing, not a clue; she stepped with his movements as if she could read his actions before hand, matching them rather effortlessly, though, boy did she put her all into the dance. The shift was noticeable, pleasantly so. Though the peace of the last dance left her soothed, the fire of this new dance kept her interested, entertained. With a giggle so energized with new life, and a smile as radiant as the sun itself, Micah's whole air changed with the new dance; shifting oh so gracefully from the gentle peace her steps had resonated before, to a fluent fire of liquid steps, with new, interesting flare. Her eyes met his indefinitely during this dance, all interest in her surroundings lost; though they still seemed to make their presence known in the form of brilliant reflections all over her small, lively figure. This man, this night, this dance. It had captured her attention like none other had, and boy would it be a crazy ride.

As they paved their way into the next, more vacant ball room, her eyes cut across the distance within a second to lock his gaze within her ever changing, jewel like orbs. This room was lit differently than the other, the light revolving around the basis of a warm glow of candles peppered ever so beautifully around the room. With the lighting change, her silver, almost translucent strands of carefully woven hair took on a warm, gentle glow. Her steps continued to match his own, used to the new movements by now, and having easily caught on to the lively shift. As he spun her around in a small twirl, a bubble of laughter escaped her small, rather plump and rosy lips. Once drawn back to him once more, her left leg crossed momentarily over her right, to hook behind his left leg (in your position; in mine it'd be the right leg). Stably hooked, she then raised her right leg up into the air, drawing up to become parallel with her spine. A slow, small smile of amusement lit her face then, as the leg then dipped down to touch ground again. Releasing her hooked hold on his left leg once more she spun fluently into the next pose, meeting the coming steps as easily as if she hadn't done the rather tricky move, at all. As his arm came around her back to rest on her opposing hip, her free hand rested light and dainty on the back of his own, fingers extended and resting there only a moment, before she was then twirled into another spin. And as she broke momentarily away from his body, her free hand raised into the air above her head with a small twist, before drawing down her small figure with a graceful sweep; and once more, she was brought gracefully back into his chest. As she was caught from her prior step and dipped back, the smile on her face was left to only grow; hips lifting, neck elongating back, as he chest was raised. With the dip, her whole abdomen flexed, leaving her left knee to bend; raising to rest against his hip easily. Having easily fallen back into the pattern of this particular movement, she needed not to focus on the pose in which they were held; instead, her eyes, glimmering even now with the steady flicker of candle light, raised to meet his own with an amused, yet equally blissful and relaxed gaze.

(Sorreh Micah, Kinda half stealing one of your ideas xD)
Ali felt amazing. She felt like one of the princesses in the fairy tales she used to be told when she was very little. As a toddler, she had honestly believed that she could be like one of those princesses. As she grew older, however, she began to believe that no such things existed in real life, even if she was friends with the princess herself. Tonight, however, her early childhood dreams had made themselves real. She smiled, even through her dissapiontment that it was over. "Yeah, thank you. And I hope you did too" She said in all sincerity.

Ali smiled and kissed his cheek. "I don't mind, here, I'll wait right here for you." She smiled, her petite figure leaning against the doorway. Her eyes searched for Micah in the crowd, and was greatly surprised to find her dancing with a different guy. It wasn't even a guy she recognized. She smiled. She was happy for her friend. "That's if she isnt busy," She laughed, still slightly surprised. "And after we could go maybe to the courtyard?" that was the only other place she could think of in the ball itself, without leaving it. Other than the hallways, that was, but the courtyard seemed like a better idea.

Having easily fallen back into the pattern of this particular movement, she needed not to focus on the pose in which they were held; instead, her eyes, glimmering even now with the steady flicker of candle light, raised to meet his own with an amused, yet equally blissful and relaxed gaze.

A lock in their gazes seemed to send sparks between the two of them. The entire scene played out like something he had seen in the storybooks in the library or an old conte his father had told him from the texts. Such an odd apologue in the bible of a religion that worshiped the dragon. The story revolved around one man and the love of his life. This entire scene had reminded him of the fantasy. It was incredible, what he felt between then seemed strong. A glow in his eyes, produced by the light of the candles around them or the fire burning within his self, stared back into hers. His gaze held the same amusement and relaxation she held in hers. Continuing the dance, his hand slipped onto her knee and his fingers slid onto the silky smooth skin. As his eyes kept locked to hers, his hand slowly moved forward, gliding along her leg until it came to rest under her thigh. With a slow twist, he turned her a quarter turn, letting her head swing as he moved. As he completed the turn, his arm slipped up her back, pulling her back up to him as his other hand slid back down and locked under her knee. They now stood there, chest to chest. He could feel her breath upon him as his gaze never left her.

The empty ballroom and the seemingly shift in lighting as they entered must have possessed him as he slowed the dance down once more, letting her leg drift back down to the floor as he held her close, a small space between them as he took her hand and began the slow dance once more. Everything seemed to fit well between the two. His hand wrapped lightly around her back, hand in hand as they strolled about an empty ballroom, swerving in and out of the trees as they moved along. The bulbs where lit with many colors, blue and red being the most predominant, and the light of the room seemed to sparkle upon her skin and dress. It almost seemed like stars twinkled upon the fabric as they moved through the area. The many different colors from other decorations and the hues seemed to string along with them as the movements continued. Streams of color flowed behind them, swirling together and forming many different patterns and other shapes, as the waltz moved smoothly from one location to the other. Shurik never removed his gaze from the young woman before him, the way the light danced in her eyes and on the fabric of her dress. It all fit so perfectly well. After a few moments more of dancing, he suddenly stopped. They where so close together in that moment and a feeling slowly washed over him as he looked into her eyes for a few more seconds.

He didn't know why he did it, or what had possessed him at the moment of impact. But he suddenly pressed forward and locked his lips into hers as the man kissed the princess. A wave of what seemed like relief or maybe emotion, He couldn't tell. But in that few seconds there lips where pushed to one another, he couldn't believe the feeling. A sudden shock went through him, though, as he realized what he was doing. With a quick motion, he broke away from her and took a couple of steps back. With a shocked expression upon his face, his eyes staring in bewilderment, he bowed his head and cursed at himself under his breath. "Miss. I'm sorry about that. I don't know what came over me." He had a pretty good idea, actually. The colors, the lighting, the music, and even the glistening above from the gems within the ice and magma streams. The mood and environment just seemed to call for it. When all was said and done, he didn't know how to feel, he didn't know how she would react to such an event taking place. A sudden wave of nerves kicked in as he lifted his eyes back to his dancing partner, his body and mind preparing for what might come from his actions here tonight.,

I don't know what came over me." A sudden wave of nerves kicked in as he lifted his eyes back to his dancing partner, his body and mind preparing for what might come from his actions here tonight.,

The smile that kissed Micah's small, rosy lips could only reflect half of the joy she felt, at this moment. What could be better, than to be dancing in the company of a man such as Shurik, in a room this beautiful, and on a night so grand she could only assume the stars were dancing as well, within their beauteous castles in the sky? The music took her, on this night; possessed her body, as he possessed her mind. It was almost as if Micah was stowed away somewhere inside of her own mind, and a beautiful image of her in the eyes of another, had taken over. These movements were comforting, and within them she could easily relax herself into his arms. And with this new found relaxation, she slid easily into the coming, noticeably slower and easier steps. As if she knew his movements before they could play out, she instantly reacted to each step he made. A deep breath was drawn in as his hand moved to slide over her delicate skin, neck bared for the moment, before her face shifted slightly for the proper stance. Where the other rooms lightening had given her a lunar glow, the fiery candle light added a warm, cherry tone to her porcelain skin. The braided 'crown' atop her head was almost like a crimson coral halo, stark contrast to her doll like face. As they held their position for the few moments that had been called for, the breath on her lips dancing before her as their dance momentarily paused. With a giggle that was almost as silent as her breath, she eased once more into his arms, leg sliding gracefully to ground level and carrying her once more, following him assuredly into the slower dance once more.

Micah couldn't help but to question fate for the moment; she's danced with many before, and the chemistry between the two while they danced, was something she hadn't yet experienced. Her arms fit perfectly into place along the man, as his did her own body. Their movements were in sync, anyone could see such a thing if they were to simply watch the two move along the dance floor. Which reminded her, were other people watching? For a short moment, her eyes parted from her own to take stock of the room around her. Empty, they were still in the vacant room, yet the lighting was relatively the same... save for the fact that much of the lightening was from candles. With a small and rather easily pleased smile, her eyes shifted once more to his own; catching the reflection of the light as her head turned. The reflection in her eyes then was startlingly surreal, almost as if the orb had turned to pure glimmers of light, themselves. In a moments notice the light shifted, then appearing as a sapphire, before shifting into the look of a diamond. Of course, the reflection only struck her eyes a moment, and so the change was too quick to see each individual orb. Instead, the shift made for what seemed like an oddly quick slideshow of gems. The reflection scattered, then, bursting like a ring of light around them; dancing, just as they paused.

The next instant was... unfamiliar. They had suddenly gone from facing each other, to being lip locked... And though she wasn't sure exactly what to do, she didn't protest. No, she couldn't protest, for its meaningless to protest something you might possibly like. Did she like it? It was... unfamiliar. To be honest, she wasn't exactly sure how to respond, the only kisses she'd ever received were from her parents, and if from friends, it was on the cheek, or forehead, or head. Slightly embarrassed she didn't know how to respond, the rosy tint of the candle light enhanced upon her porcelain face. She was curious, though; as to what might come of this kiss, as to why he had done such a thing, as to what they would do now. However, upset was she, at the bow of his head. At least he didn't call her 'Princess', she supposed. It would be a painful fact to learn that all this time he hadn't seen her like a person, as she'd thought he had, but more of an object or strategic advance. Again, though, she highly doubted him to be such the type. She was left, then, to decide; what would she do now, what would become of this night? Micah wasn't one to think things through excessively, at least not matters such as this, matters of the heart. It was only natural for her to step forward, moving toward him, closer, until she was pressed against him with a gentle, quiet embrace. Her arms were left to wind around his waist, head resting, oddly, she noted, against her chest. A short moments pause. She felt the need to tell him, somehow, it was alright. That she wasn't mad, upset, that she didn't know what to do, but that it was alright. A small smile touched her lips then, eyes lifting to meet his own temporarily, before shifting as she released him from the embrace and took only a small step back. "It seems this night is almost at its close. I doubt you'll want to take the trip back to Incendia, tonight. Why don't you stay?" Until morning, for a few days, he'd be welcome as long as he wished to be. Micah would leave that decision up to him.

Until morning, for a few days, he'd be welcome as long as he wished to be. Micah would leave that decision up to him.

Now it seemed he was the one who did not know how to react. Expecting a more [i]violent[/] response, if anything at all. They had only known one another for a few hours and here he went and planted a kiss upon her lips in the middle of their dance. The last thing he thought she would do to him was wrap her arms around him and embrace him in a hug. His body tensed up as she approached him, only for a moment, until he realized she wasn't going to attack him in one shape or another. His body relaxed and his arms slowly wrapped back around her and let the embrace continue as long as she let it. His eyes stared around the room for a moment as he took in the scenery of the second room, having not noticing it when they danced into it. His eyes closed for a moment as he recollected himself. Not only for the sake of himself, but for the sake of the moment. The reaction he had given to her must have confused her a moment, and he was sure his downward gaze would only add to the ill feelings she might have taken from it. So as the hug broke and she asked him to stay in Siram for the time being, a large smile broke out on his face as his testament to his clan shown white in the gleaming candle light.

He nodded his head, the large grin remaining on his face as he chuckled softly. "Well. What a generous offer." He looked into the soft glow of her eyes and nodded for a moment, but slowly stopped. His eyes continued to lock into hers as he felt the need to explain himself. "But I feel I have to talk to you a few moments first." He sighed lightly and and continued to smile at her. "When we kissed. I don't know what came over me. I was rather caught up in the moment and when we where so close... I felt close to you." He chuckled and looked away for a moment, staring off at a light near the floor as he continued his explanation. "I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy it though. I just.." He rubbed the back of his head for a moment, trying to think of the right words to describe the issue at hand. It wasn't because she was a princess and he was just a soldier. He didn't care about statuses or things of the short. "I felt a strong Attraction to you." He nodded and looked to her, his eyes locking into hers once more as he laughed. He set his hand on hers and shook his head for a moment before he spoke again. He really wanted to get to know Micah before something like that happened again. "The night is almost at an end, aye?" He nodded for a moment and then looked back towards the doors they had so carelessly waltzed through.

He couldn't help but notice a few people peeking in as if to see who was inside the empty area, but they where of no concern to him. He thought about her offer for a few moments. The next flight to Incendia could take a few days to arrive, it depended on when the next shipment came to Siram. He decided it would be in his best interests to stay off the paths and trails and stay in Siram for the time being. He looked at Micah and wrapped his arms around her once again, embracing her in a tight hug and letting her go a few seconds later. "Well, seeing as I might be here for awhile, I would be honored to stay here with you." His eyes lit up in a bright Violet as he looked around once more and back to the lovely woman he had the pleasure to spend the evening with. What a night it had been and one could only guess what the rest of his days in Siram would hold. He let his left hand slip back to the back of his head and rub up and down against the short locks that where there. With a small grin he asked. "So. What room would I be staying in?"
