The burning heat of the volcanic home of Incendia Calx, pulsates through the entire city. Buildings, streets, clothing, everything has been made to resist the terrifying force of nature that resides just under their feet. Even the Clan's members have become adapted at resisting the heat, the ability to create wind dancing just beneath their skin. Specialists, study the flow of lava, waiting for the time that it begins the process of raising, indicating an impeding eruption.

The city itself is settled inside a large crevice, despite this only half of the city is covered by the heavy stone of the volcanoes walls. The rest of it, lies upon a outcropping, that sits just above the lava. The layer of rock and other suck minerals is thick enough that it can support the city with ease, giving the residents a look down at a fire that burns even hotter then the one that rests inside of them.

Four districts make up the city. The one farthest from the edge of the city, is The Royal District, which houses not only the current ruler of Incendia Calx, Rajak, but also the highest members of the clan, their houses spreading out in a semi circle around that of the new clan leader. In addition to the leader and other high members, the Royal District is where the Barracks reside, along with a special section of the district for Dragon Tamers to live. . The second district, which lies just below the Royal District, is the Merchants District, where the men that have made a living by selling different goods may live, if they have the money to do so. The Workers District lies down and to the left of the Merchant District. Blacksmiths, Silversmiths, most animal tamers, and middle class clans members reside here. The Workers District is the one that lies on the outcropping directly above the lava flow. The fourth district is spread amongst the other three, in a cropping of buildings. These buildings are where the lowest members of the clan live, whether they are peasants or servants.

With a soft yawn, a woman's eyes would open to the early morn. Grunting, she would slowly roll out of her makeshift bed, walking aimlessly around her sleeping area until she would finally decide to stop upon the window. Looking out to the walls, the woman smiled, knowing that there were people out there finally.. people that she was supposed to meet. Soon after the smile appeared, it would turn downward in a frown for the woman knew little about speaking to others unless they were the officials.

Moving about the sleeping area once more, the woman would slowly pop every joint within her body, a sigh of pleasure escaping her lips at every crack. It would be soon after she would do this that she would return to the window, open it enough for her to crawl upon the window seal and look about the grounds around her. Bright eyes would focus upon the training area, a smile forming of her lips though she knew that she would never go to that area. The thrill of the fight was something that she had always wanted to experience, but knew that she never would. Only another woman would fight her, or so she would think. Maybe a man would have the guts to raise a hand to her, but for some reason, Icimdeki doubted it.

"I really need to get out of here." Words spoken very softly would echo off of the walls behind her as her legs hung from the low window. "There is no one around anymore, not that I am used to people as a whole.. but.. is it too much to ask for a little bit of company?" With her question asked to the air around her, Icimdeki would let out a soft sigh and hop down from her window, landing upon the balls of her feet rather gracefully though she was hardly ever. It would be then and only then that she would begin to walk around the district, the soft wind that always surrounded her blowing her copper red hair away from her face. "Wow.. such a suprise. No one is around... and no matter how pretty the volcano is.. I need something solid other than the rocks to hold onto."

Waking up, Jin-E scratched his head slightly as he laid in bed. He was alone at the moment, the boys that he had adopted were out working or trying to find a job. A small sigh left his lips as he forced himself out of bed. Standing up, he quickly donned his armor and weaponry. Two straight Katanas on his back and another two on his sides. He had Kunais and Shuriken strapped on his personnel in areas easy to grab and launch from. A 6 inch dagger stuck out of each end of his boots so he would be able to grab and launch them easily. Grabbing his red scarf mask, he tied it into place with a small sigh. Hopefully today was not going to be to boring for him.

Walking out of his room and down the stairs, Jin stiffed another yawn. He was still groggy from waking up after sleeping for so long. With a roll of his shoulders, he walked out of his home and into the busy street. People were running around here and their, calling to the hawkers to get food or trade. It was warm as ever in the mountain city. With a small shrug, he looked around before heading to the Drunken Dragon tavern. It was pay day for him and he intended to get his money from the owner. Jumping back to avoid being trampled by the busy people running hither and there, he would run across the street to annoy Jagen, the new tavern master.

Pushing the door open, he would smile slightly as the usual farmers and drinkers waved at him. " Morning fellas. Anyone wanting to be a idiot today?" The patrons of the tavern shook their head and went back to their drinking. Jin walked over to Jagen and looked at him " Pay day Jagen" Jagen growled under his breath and gave JIn his gold " Here Jin, your gonna clean me out " Jin-E just laughed slightly and smirked " Tavik handled it, you can to" He bought everyone a drink and headed outside. It was his day off so now he was going to go see what their was to do today.

Icimdeki was not one to notice the people around her, so she began to walk through the streets of the place she called home with her head down. Each step took her toward the area that she never ventured out to. Her head would only raise as she heard a large group of people crowded into one space, looking up for any clue as to what this place may be, she would sigh and shake her head. 'Really? What a lovely name. Must be a bunch of loons and people who are alone.' Though she thought these words her face would show her disgust. Just as she was about to take another step down the street, a man would appear in front of her. She would sigh, letting irritation show upon her brow and in her bright eyes before she would wait for him to move; impatiently.

Stepping to the side, she would simply walk around him, mumbling to herself as she passed the taller being. Standing at 5' even was not the best thing. People tended to look over her though she hated to be looked over. As she passed him, she would speak very lowly, her words snapping like venom, "Excuse me. Didn't mean to get in your way." With that she would shake her head, speaking once more within her mind, 'The one person I do actually notice is the person who is happy when I am not. Great..'

Hearing someone make a comment to him, Jin-E turned around and looked at her, his eyebrow raising slightly. " Sorry i didnt see you their" He looked at her up and down slightly but quickly " You seem new to here." He turned sideways as a few people headed towards the Drunken Dragon " If you are new, find someone to help show you whats around and where to avoid. The drunks here usually get to rowdy with people that they think are weak. You should be careful" He turned to leave, but as he did, Jagen walked out of the bar " Jin get in here, i need your help" With a small irritated growl, he turned and headed into the bar.

It was quiet for a few moments before three people were thrown out of the door and into the street. They had a few bruises everywhere. " Next time i wont give you a chance, now beat it" Jin stepped down the steps, he had a cut above his eye along with a small bruise on his face. Turning towards the women again, he hid a smile behind his mask " Sorry about that miss..."

Icimdeki turned as he spoke back to her, having never thought that he would talk to her. A single eyebrow would raise at his comment before she would slowly shake her head. "I'm not new here.. I just never get out. I stay cooped up, and people like those in there are why I stay that way. I just.. wanted to finally get out." Soon she would shake her head once more, anger crossing her brow as she looked up at him, arms crossed over her chest. "Excuse me.. is that a sexist joke or a short joke? You really don't know me, sir, so please... PLEASE don't make fun of me." It would be then that her anger would transfer over to the one who needed the man before her.

'Jin' was the name of this man, the one who she waited just moments for him to get done with whatever task he had been called in for. As she saw the two men being thrust out of the bar, she could help but let out a soft laugh. "This world if full of dumb people.. Yeah. I think that I might just go home." Though she began to walk back the other way, she stopped and looked at Jin who had just come back out and apologized. Apologized? To her? For what? Violence was always welcome in her world, as long as she was not involved in it. It would be then that the anger would flow out of her eyes, leaving only mild curiosity as she too looked him over. "It's completely fine, Jin."

He titled his head slightly towards her and shrugged " Well now you know my name Miss. And i thought you were new cause i havent seen you around here before." He would bow towards her slightly before turning to see if the other guys were still laying their. They were gone now. With a shrug, he turned back towards her " I am gonna head to a healers to get this stitched or what ever it needs. would you like to join me or would you rather have your own privacy?" To Jin it did not matter either way, it was just a question but this women infront of him seemed to be filled with fire and that interested Jin.

"I figured as much. No one has seen me out really.. I've had to rely on me, myself, and I for a while now. Yes, I do know your name. If you care to know mine, it's Icimdeki.. but you can call me pretty much anything." She spoke without anger for the first time in a while, and it actually felt good to hear herself be calm. There was no more anger, no more sadness, there was just that curiousity. At his offer for her to join him, she would blink her blue eyes up at him, startled for a moment before she would bite at her lip and look down in thought. If she were to go with him, she would learn more about her homeland and possibly where things were, but if she didn't go with him, she could probably make it back home unless she ran into the two who had been thrown out of the bar. With a shudder she would look back up at him and speak softly, "I would like to accompany you as long as you are fine with that."

Chuckling softly, Jin shook his head "If i minded wether or not if i wanted you to join me, i wouldnt of asked now would I?" He turned around and began to walk towards the market square " Icimdeki? Sound allot better then Jin" He laughed softly before taking a right turn towards the nearest stall asking directions to the healer. Getting the directions, he turned and went deeper towards the market, hoping that Icimdeki was following " So why now after all of these years comming out of your home to view our world?" He ducked underneath a swinging pole and straitened back up.

Turning this way and that, he made it towards the healers, Turning around he would gaze behind him for Icimdeki " Well ill be right back" He would head into the healers and pay the women 3 gold marks for her to stitch. He didnt make a sound as the needle jabbed into his skin and closed the wound. It did hurt but he didnt allow it to show on his face. The healer was bickering at Jin, telling him that he needed to be more careful or he would end up getting himself killed.

Icim would let out a soft chuckle as he spoke, knowing that she should have thought such before she opened her mouth, but her social awkwardness was not good in these kind of situations. Here was probably the only male that she had talked to other than her now deceased father. "Icimdeki is too long for me, and it doesn't exactly roll off the tip of my tongue, but Jin does." Her legs would move under her, matching his strides with four to his three, "Jin.. Jin.. Jiiiiiiiinn." Now she would let out another soft chuckle and shake her head. "Sorry.. I just like your name, and I am a bit nervous. I uh.." It would be then that she would look down nervously, knowing that she already sounded like a dork, but she matched his strides just the same but would only do this for a few more moments for she would run slap into the swinging pole, it catching her around the neck and throwing her back onto her butt. She would only sit for a moment, her only thought being 'Oww.. OWWW!'. Dusting herself off, she would scurry after him though she limped slightly due to her sore butt.

It was as he moved into the healer's area that Icimdeki began to jump around, rubbing at her butt as if it could make it any better. A couple of winces of pain would escape her now clenched teeth as she began walking around, trying to get used to the ever present soreness. She found herself walking around with her eyes closed and when she opened she found that she was about to run into a wall of another building. "What the heck? Can't a girl walk without being almost run over by a boy, clotheslined by a pole, and then almost flattened against a wall?" Shaking her head she would look to and fro, shivering lightly. "I hope he isn't in there for long."

The day started out like any other normal day for Caelia, if she could call her life normal. She was lying on her sleeping roll, staring up at the ceiling waiting for the sun to rise. Her mind had wandered all night, keeping her from getting much rest, and she hoped her performance would be well despite the lack of sleep. She heard a huff come from beside her and rolled over to see a black wolf lying next to her sleeping roll. He had his head on his paws and his eyes were focused on her as if he was waiting on her to move. The wolf had been her sole companion from the time she was fourteen until she arrived in Incendia two days before her seventeenth birthday. Caelia sat up and patted the big wolf's head. "Okay Kiba, I'm awake," she chuckled.
She stretched to her full five feet eleven inches and got up to put on her grey tunic and her pants, black and baggy as usual. After making sure she had her waterbag and the dagger she kept concealed in case she needed it, Caelia set off for the healer's tent with Kiba padding after her. I wonder how the day will be, she thought to herself. If she was lucky, perhaps Ari would let her take her break outside the healer's tent today. Most days Caelia was expected to stay inside the tent in case she was needed for something, but on rare occassions she got to go out and watch the people around her. Sometimes one would even stop to talk to her for awhile. On her way to the healer's tent Caelia stopped at a vendor to buy some breakfast and chat about the weather and such while watching people move in and out of the shops. Then off to the healer's tent to begin the day's work.
As soon as she stepped into the tent she could hear Ari bustling around and scolding the other healers for whatever reason. Caelia knew now that it was just the woman's nature, but when she had first arrived here, all of that chittering and scolding had been quite unnerving to her. Ari spotted Caelia crossing to her station and began the long speech about being punctual even though Caelia had arrived early. Caelia just pretended to listen intently while gathering her equipment, and so the workday began...
Just as she was finishing up a bandage for a scrape on a child's arm, Caelia heard a man's voice outside the tent, followed by a female one. The source of the male voice ducked into the tent and Caelia recognized the man as the one called Jin. He was in here frequently, and immediately Ari started scolding him for fighting again and telling him to be more careful. Caelia was curious as to who his female companion had been as she had not entered the tent. She checked the sundial outside and went in to tell Ari she was taking her break now. Busy with stitching Jin's wound, she shooed Caelia off. Caelia went back to her station and commanded Kiba to stay where he was. Then she bounded toward the tent entrance.
Caelia stepped out into the heat of the city and looked around for any indication of the female voice. Finally she spotted her meandering around oustide the healer's tent with her eyes closed and looking very much in pain. She almost called when the woman almost ran smack into the wall, but remained silent when the woman finally opened her eyes and stopped short. She needs help, Caelia thought to herself as she strode up to the woman carefully, trying not to startle her and assessing the situation as best she could. The woman looked young, late teens early twentyish, with fire-red hair and about 5 feet in height. "Excuse me, miss. Do you need some help? You seem to be in pain, and I work in the healers tent just over there," she motioned toward the tent. "I would be glad to assist you, if you wish."

Icim's mind was still wrapped around the fact that she hoped Jin would return soon that she almost missed the words of the other woman. Turning about on her heels, Icim faced this woman, her demeaner completely changed now. A single brow would raise as the woman offered her help, simply because Icim did not like to get sympathy. "I don't think that I need help, miss.. I think all that I need is for my friend to come back out of that tent so I can get to know him better." Words flew from her tongue, snippy and venomous. It then occured to the woman that this girl was simply there to help and had approached her quite calmly. Though this woman realized that she was acting like a complete bitch, her demeanor would not change in the slightest, in fact.. it would simply grow frigid. "I don't need anyone's help.. I just need to get away from here."

Taking a few steps toward the woman, Icim would let her guard down the slightest bit, pain showing a bit in her bright eyes as she looked over the woman. This woman was similar to Icim, but the nicer version. 'I'm sorry.. I'm a bit on edge'. Though this thought sounded great in Icim's head, she was not up to letting the other woman see that she actually felt bad for what she had said. It would be then that she would step closer to the woman and the tent, letting her body stand within the entryway. "Though I think you already helped by making me angry." Blinking up at the woman, Icim would let her lips curl upward at the corners.

She was taken aback at the woman's harsh reply, but she hardly faltered. After all, she was trained to handle situations in which people could become unpleasant, and she was sure it was because the woman was in pain. Still Caelia could not control the change of color in her eyes as they shifted from sky blue to greenish, something that happened when she was uncertain or confused. "I'm sorry for angering you. I was just thinking you might like some help. ...and why does she need to get out of here if she wants to see Jin? "Well if you want, I can take you inside the tent to see him, and if you change your mind about seeing to your injuries, I'll be glad to oblige." She started to turn back to the tent, but suddenly a flash of black fur and fangs appeared at her side, and Kiba was snarling at the other woman. "Kiba!" Caelia scolded. "I told you to stay where you were!" She knelt beside the wolf and put an arm around his neck. "You'll have to excuse him. He's really too overprotective of me," she said up to the woman.
Caelia could hear Ari's scolding had ceased inside the tent, and wondered if she was finished with the man. Anyway If she stayed out here too long, Ari's repreive wouldn't last very long at all. That Ari was worse than a mother hen with chicks sometimes. Caelia figured she couldn't possibly be any more help to the strange woman out here, so she stood up and nodded to the woman. "If you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my station." Walking Kiba back to the healer's tent, she turned and said, "My name's Caelia, by the way." Then she kept walking toward the tent entrance.

After his stitches were done, he paid the healer and stood up. Hiding a smile behind his mask, he turned towards her " If i live i live. If i die i die. That is the code of the wilds and simple life" He turned towards the exit and almost ran into another healer. He bowed his head slightly towards her and moved outside of the tent. Jins head tilted slightly as he looked at Icimdeki and turned his head to look back at the other healer " You should be nicer to them. With out our healers, most people would have to find the herbs they need out in the wild. 9 times out of 10 they would die before they found the herbs." Turning back to Icim, he shook his head " Be more careful then you wouldn't get hurt" With a slight sigh, he pulled down his mask to reveal a young face that was barely more then 18. " You should go ask for her forgiveness." He pulled out a cigarette that he had rolled later last night and lit it with a small flame from his finger. Taking a drag from it, he looked at Icim and waited for her remark.

Icim would merely stare at the healer as she spoke to her, her demeanor having changed in the matter of seconds. She could have been nicer to the woman but had chosen not to for reasons that were unknown to her. With a soft sigh, Icim would begin to follow the woman only to stop short at the mutt who had decided to growl at her. It was then that the seemingly calm woman would tense up again and move back to the wall she had almost ran into earlier on with a growl of her own. Eyes would narrow at the creature for a moment before she would look up at the woman who had spoken to her once more. "You can't control dogs all of the time, but thank you for apologizing for it. I don't think that I want to get any closer to it though, Caelia.." With a shudder she would turn around, looking to and fro for her way out but she would soon find herself turning again to face Jin.

She dared narrowing her eyes at him in the slightest before she would take her hands away from her buttocks, noticing how stupid she looked in front of him. With a soft blush of embarrassment she would look from him to the girl who was walking back to the tent. "Well.. I can't help that I am a clutz.. and socially awkward, Jin." It was then that her eyes would focus upon the face that was shown to her, knowing that this boy was around her age or possibly older. She hardly kept up with age anymore. Who would care anyway? "I should probably ask for forgiveness.. but it would be a shame if a healer wouldn't heal a person just because she has issues with being nice to people." With a sigh Icim would turn her head to the side, looking anywhere but the now stitched up Jin. "Well.. Where do you want to go now?"

Looking at Icim, he shook his head sadly and pointed into the healers place " Not until you go and ask forgiveness. It is only right. After that, you will ask her if she would like to join us for a bite to eat. My treat" He was doing this to Icim for two reasons. One was that she had disrespected the healers, two was to force her to be sociable and possibly get a friendship out of the young healer. Turning his head to the side, a scar traveling from under his eye all the way down to his bottom lip was able to be seen. Taking one last drag, he would flick the cigarette into a small puddle of water. Letting the smoke curl out from his nose, he would slide his mask back up and wait for her to do what he told her to do. " If you decide not to, then you may find your way back to your home or another guide" It was simple as that for Jin-E. He owed the healers allot. Since he had moved into the city from the wilds after being brought here by Shur and the late king, he was almost always at the healers for some injury or another. It kind of became a habit to come to them for his injuries cause then he was able to gain more knowledge of how to speak.

Icim let her lips turn downward as she stared at the boy. How dare he ask her to do such a thing? She would probably never even need these people again, but something inside her pulled toward the healer's area. Was it the fact that these were the first people she had come in contact with in a while, or was it something that she was yet to understand? With a soft sigh she would turn her attention from him to the area where the young healer had disappeared to, contemplating what her next action should be. She could ignore his wishes and be stubborn, but she feared that she would never make it back to her home. Could she risk going by that bar again? It was bad enough that she had let herself come this far into town. She'd hardly even ventured out of the walls of her home since the death of both of her parents.

Looking back at Jin, she would take steps toward him, making sure that she made her presence known though she had to look up at him greatly. "I don't think that I could make it around here without you, but I don't understand why I have to apologize to that girl. I don't get in fights or really even hurt myself to the point where I cannot heal on my own. I've not needed a healer up to this point.. so why would I need them in the future?" With a sigh she would lower her head slightly, letting her eyes close for a moment as she thought of what else to say to him. "I guess if I must.. I could go ask for her forgiveness.. but she might be too busy to see me now." After speaking softly she would look up at him, her fingers raising as if she would touch the mask, wanting to see the scars beneath them again. "Can I know how you got your scars too? I'm very curious.. I blame the fighter's spirit within me. I also want to know why you hide them from people.. Some, like me, actually enjoy touching them." It was then that she would let her lips turn down in a pouting manner before she realized how vulnerable and soft she must look. Soon after realizing this she would lower her hand and turn her head. "Maybe I should go home before I do something stupid."

Jin looked at her and thought for a few moments " Ill tell you about my scars after you apologize. Deal?" He gazed at her for a few moments and waited to see wether or not she would agree. Before he could say anything else though, a boy ran up and tugged on his sleeve, asking for spare change. He smiled slightly and dumped the coins into the boys hand. Turning back towards Icim, he smiled at her " Cause you are no doubt going to get hurt or something with your balance and attention span, no offense but i could hear you falliing and getting hurt from inside." He pointed back towards the healers place, indicating that their talking was done untill she apologized and asked the young healer to go out to lunch with them.

Caelia walked calmly back into the tent, trying to look as if nothing had happened, but obviously distracted because she almost ran into Jin on her way inside. Kiba was padding close behind her with his head down as if apologizing for disobeying her command. She marched over to her healer's station and began organizing her supplies and herbs for no reason at all. They were already in order. There was no one else left in the tent except the healers as Jin was the last one to visit that afternoon. More people would be by later for sure, but for now, all was quiet inside the healer's tent with the exception of Kiba's heavy panting and Ari's bustling around. While it was true, Caelia was considered a young healer even though she was older than all of the apprentices; she was twenty years old after all, but she had only been in Incendia for three years. Still, even Ari could not argue that her talent for healing was astounding. She had a natural way with people, and knew how to deal with them in most cases.
No matter what she did, Caelia just could not keep her mind off of that woman. She had not given her name although Caelia had said hers before walking off. Why does it bother me so much? I've been trained better than that, and she's not the first unpleasant encounter I've had, she thought as she sorted through the herbs once more. Maybe it was because she had thought she could be all nice and make friends with the woman when that wasn't her job. It was her job to see to people's injuries, physical or otherwise, and patch them up and send them on their way. Something told her it was much more than the encounter outside. Caelia felt some sort of connection with this woman. She didn't know what it was yet, but she wanted to figure it out, and it was bugging her.
Ari must have noticed that Caelia was distracted because she came over to her and put her hand on her shoulder. "Maybe it's best if you took the rest of the day off, Caelia," she said gently, something uncommon for Ari. Caelia had to protest. "No. It's my job to heal, and I'll stay." But Ari would not listen to her protests. "Go. Things will be fine here. You can come back tomorrow when you feel better." Caelia just looked down, then got her things packed and put away her supplies. Then she signaled for Kiba and walked toward the tent entrance.

in the calmed city of incendia the people would sit goign about there buisness though to catch there eye an eearie green like gas began to rise over there city seeming to have come from down below there were shards of sand in th mix almost as if carrying this odd plague. down below sotaynru and his army waiting for them to accept his little welcomgin gift. the gas would spread surely fast enough to sicken most the lower class within only an hour if left untampered with. the others it would send them into a marale fit wondering what type of craft this was to hold the power of pestilence int he palm of ones hand to mimic a horsemen in his grandest form. sotaynrus men now sat in wiat they had barrels read for if they needed them there blades all sharped and ready fro battle sotayrnus eyes shut he waited for the sound of battle to let his plans take motion a constant wavelength with his comapanions there minds were set in a link the spartans now moved towards the trail ways piling in there phalynxed up waiting with there odd carved spears and shields. archers now spread out to cover every angle. they were nto grouped together at all. the swords men waited and the wolf riders with there odd spears halberds and flails sat in wait for the command. the assassins just waiting for it to be time as only 10 elementalist waited staning in a line with sotaynru waiting for the word. sotaynrus grave smile shown past his childish innocence the thrill of war now to quence his appetite his boredom. they lay in wait as the plague did its job.

As Jin-E waited for Icim to go apologize to the young healer, the hairs on the back of his neck began to stiffen. Some of his instincts from living in the wild told him that all was not well as it should be. Looking up from his place, Jin-E could see a green gas like cloud begin to envelope the city. As it drifted down, he could see some of the regular citizens begin to get sick, in most cases it seemed as though they died where they were standing. Holding his breath, he created a small pocket of wind about 20 feet around him and the two women along with who ever else was near him. Today's business seemed to be forgotten as he looked towards the two women plus who ever else that was ok around the circle. " Somethings not right. Both of you should gather those who are not sick and leave the city through the mining shafts. Use your wind abilities to blow all of this gas out of your way, but dont bother clearing every section you come across. Just get it out of your way to leave. If you find any unaffected yet, take them with you. Call upon the guards and who ever else has weapons at their hands to help get you out of the city"

Jin-E would then turn and start running towards his house, clearing the streets just enough for him to get to his home. Upon entering his house, he grabbed the heavy blade he had shown Shur. The extending spear sword that he had decided to call Korikin. Strapping it onto his side, he gathered up the rest of his weapons. With a quick dash, he raced over to the guards. " Im a friend of Shurik Sidorov. Do you have any idea whats happening?" The guards shook their head as Jin sighed in frustration. " One of you needs to rush to the barracks and get as many soldiers that arnt effected yet out here. Mainly the ones who can use fire and air. Time is not on our side so haste would be appreciative." One guard ran off to do what Jin said because it was the smart thing to do. Looking over at the last two guards, Jin pointed at another one " You need to get to the palace and make sure the Current king is aware of the situation and is ready to call what ever troops we have to defend the castle." The other guard ran off as well. Looking at the last guard, Jin nodded at him " We should work together to clear the streets untill the men from the barracks can come and help us make a way for the regular citizens to get out of here." With that, Jin began to clear the streets at his cross section as much as possible while trying to direct people towards the mine shafts.

The roars pouring from the palace walls as the news of the preemptive strike reached his ears pierced the hallowed rock of Incendia and echoed thought to the attacking forces below. Incendia was under assault by Septur Kana, and the King was not going to let this go easily. Within minutes of the initial attack, all forces where summoned to fight the plagued sands that now threatened their life and to raise the guard of their proud home. The time to fight was now, and Rajak would not take this unconditional act of was to pass without consequence. Dashing through the halls, his powerful legs carrying him past rushing nobles leaving the palace for the safety of the outside world. His body crashed through a set of doors, his men already suited and ready for the assault that laid ahead of him. His eyes looked upon his men as a chuckle passed through his lips. Before him stood a ten man line, three men deep, suited to the teeth in the finest armor Incendia had ever created. The homeland defense stood before him as his eyes scanned over every man present, his voice echoing through the Halls. "Men! Septur Kana Forces are howling at our front door, begging for entrance to our homes. Will we let them in?!" Resounding through the halls, every man responded with a powerful "NO!" He looked proud upon his force as he paced before them. "Will you allow this Sotaynru to take the throne instead of your true king?" Another No poured forth from their lips, echoing through the halls into the ears of the people of Incendia themselves.

He turned from his men, A few guards came forth and suited the king with his armor. Arming him with his staff, spear and sword. When they placed the helm upon his head, he turned toward his men, spear in hand and thrust it into the air, screaming at the top of his lunges, "FOR THE DRAGON!" and his man answered with an unwavering "SALUTE!" He turned and marched his men down the halls of the palace, The clanking armor the only thing able to be heard rushing through the royal housing. They burst from the back door, into a small off cave at the back of the Palace and lined behind him, staring up at their monstrous mounts. Fifteen Dragons, beside his own stared down at their Ryders and as if to honor the coming battle, reared their heads back into the air and let out monstrous roars, nearly shaking the mountains themselves. Fifteen riders with spears and fifteen armored Griffin Ryders, Armed with their bows. The Ryders of Incendia, A force to be reckoned with was now ready to descend upon their opposition with a fiery rage. The men mounted their beasts of destruction, each one marked with the symbol of Incendia. All except one. Rajak strolled forward, past his brethren and to his dragon. The winged daemon he stood before was known as Ragnarok to him. The sleek black dragon was slightly bigger than the rest of them, but the beast looked more aerodynamic than the rest. Ragnarok, The black Lightning as some called him, His flames flashed as blue as the ice that peaked their mountain ranges and burned as hot as the lava the city sat upon. Ragnarok laid himself down before the king in respect as he climbed upon his mount and patted the beast upon the neck. All beasts rose with The Black Lightning, extending their wings as Rajak pointed his spear for the Exit. "TO GLORY!"

With his call, Ragnarok flapped his wings and launched from the exit into the skies on the opposite side Sotay was attacking. All other Ryders followed him as they flew from the mountain and into the skies. The Fifteen Dragons Followed Rajak and his beast as they circled around and flew into the sky with tremendous speed, hiding above the clouds as they calculated where to attack. Without another moment, Ragnarok rushed from the clouds first, a black streak across the sky appearing and launching towards the initial force. Within moments, a crashing sound was heard as Black Lightning struck down upon the Phalanx making their way up the path. Shields and swords sprayed as the dragon came down unsuspectingly upon the men, tearing their defense to shreds and throwing bodies asunder in seconds as the Dragon now reared it's head down towards the other men. As the initial dragon attack commenced, the Griffins had caught the most recently launched barrels in their claws and carried them through the air. Within moments, the weapon they had used against them was dropped upon several groups of archers. With a mighty breath, Ragnarok blew forth a burning blue flame, igniting the path to Incendia in a sea of fire to prevent further movements towards Incendia's entrance. By the time the forced had time to figure out what had happen, The black dragon was off again, a streak of bleakness quickly circling the rest of the forces.

Acting as a distraction, Ragnarok did a good job keeping all eyes upon him. Swooping in quickly and lighting some ground aflame and then taking off once more. As The black beast kept all attention on him, The Ryders flew in from behind, sweeping over the forests and releasing their fires into the trees. The Dragon Ryders had now Encircled The Septur Kana Forces in a ring of untameable fires. Now, dragons circled in the skies above their heads, too high for a bowman to fire straight up at, and arrows rained down from the Griffins just above the dragons. The dragons acted like a cloak for the Armored mounts as their Ryders fired their bows. Rajak circled lower, a mere blur to the eyes of the forces, continually swooping in at random times and igniting another group of warriors or archers. Ragnarok released a roar from above, as if he was satisfied with the destruction he had brought down upon the aggressors. Rajak could not be happier with the job his men where doing. They would remain in this formation until He gave the order to fly back. Rajak himself had his eyes set upon one man on the ground. Despite the speed they where going, he always looked upon one man. Sotaynru. This man would not feel the fires of death engulfing him, but Rajak's own sword through his boyish heart.
